Sardine Series

During Melbourne’s Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020/21 I wasn’t able to use my studio. This inspired me to paint small in the space I had at home. By coincidence, I was also trying to eat more sardines at the time (for various reasons!) I found the tins to be so beautiful with such a smooth edge, that the two ideas just became one.
