Lana Daubermann is an
Australian landscape painter
Lana Daubermann is a landscape and still life painter living near Melbourne’s Merri Creek. She has painted since she was a child, slowly sidestepping her way out of a career in advertising to becoming a full-time artist.
Lana primarily works in oils and enjoys the immersive qualities of paint and its endless possibilities in mark-making. Painting en plein air and direct from life is an important part of her practice as she explores the process of painting and drawing and the unique way it can connect us to the world. With a traditional background in tonalism, her attention over the years has shifted more towards intuition and colour.
She exhibits and teaches regularly, and loves to share her passion for painting with others. Please sign up to her newsletter if you’d like to be kept in the loop.
